The Road Back: Royce Lewis

The 2017 number one overall draft pick Royce Lewis has suffered to ACL tear's in his young professional career. This video is the first in a series intended to follow Royce throughout his rehab journey, and culminate with his return to the big leagues. We first catch up with Royce in Ft Myers, Florida, the home of the Twins minor league academy and spring training facilities. Midseason Form

As the first half of the 2022 season came to a close, the Minnesota twins were leading the AL central division. With this, I chose to make a scripted cinematic trailer to tease the second half. I scripted, filmed (except two shots), edited, and color graded this piece.

Baseball’s Back

After a tumultuous off season, Major League Baseball and the Players Union agreed on a new CBA and just like that we were down in Florida for spring training.

A Superior Morning

Filmed on the banks of Lake Superior, a three and a half hour drive resulted in one of the most breath taking (and freezing) mornings I’ve been pleasured to witness. At a chilling -13 degrees, I shot all that I could before trudging my way back through the snow to my Jeep.

When the Lights Go Out in Fresno

Thousands of miles had been collectively traveled by teams spanning the country to run in the West Coast Relays, a Track and Field meet hosted by Fresno State. Disaster turned to a story of triumph when the power went out at the facility, uniting competitors and teammates alike to light the way in a one of a kind racing atmosphere.

2021 Demo Reel

While finishing the last few weeks of my degree online, I started as a content producer at Fresno State in December. Things got off to a slow start as I contracted Covid-19 on my move out and had to quarantine my first few weeks. Since then, I have worked with every one of our olympic sports and have traveled with our men’s and women’s basketball programs and water polo team for the Mountain West Conference Tournament, the WNIT, and the water polo national championships. This reel is a culmination of my best shots as of March 29th.

Goodbye Dave

As the 2021 season was just getting its feet beneath it, radio host and play by play announcer Dave Thomas was getting ready to start a new chapter in his life. Family matters forced Dave to make a decision that left him walking away from the booth at Bridgeforth stadium. Head Coach Curt Cignetti asked Dave to speak one final time to the team before his departure.
